Album Reformation DJky Luccy vychází na CD!
V prosinci 2008 DJ Lucca vydala a pokřtila své debutové autorské album Reformation. Kolekce 14 skladeb pod značkou Sound Of Acapulco vyšla exkluzivně na Beatportu, tedy v digitální podobě.
Nyní vychází speciální edice CD Reformation v limitovaném nákladu pro prodej přes stránky www.lucca.cz. K dispozici ale jsou 2 varianty CD:
- první varianta je nemixované album, obsahující jednotlivé skladby,
- druhá varianta obsahuje skladby z alba zmixované do hodinového setu.
CD si můžete objednat na dobírku prostřednictvím mailu katka-mersey@volny.cz za 200,- + poštovné a balné. Nutné upřesnit druh CD, uvést celé jméno a adresu vč. PSČ.

25.10.2008 - December 1st will see the release of Dj Lucca’s debut artist album ’REFORMATION’
Lucca is a world renowned DJ and travels the world playing the biggest clubs and festivals and this was capped by featuring in the DJ mag top 250 in 2007. During the the constant touring Lucca has been hard at work in the studio preparing tracks for her album.
The lead single of the album 'Bodydance' was released in 2007 to serial acclaim the track was even 'A' playlisted on MTV Europe. Since then Lucca has chosen her favourite producers to remix some of the tracks from her album and these include Funk D'Void, Robert Babicz, Pig & Dan, Matt Tolfrey, Tatoo Detectives and Rebekah.
The album is a true reflection of Lucca's favourite music and style over the past 12 months and she aims to become one of the most in demand female producers as she already is as a DJ.

Biography (full version)
DJ Lucca began performing as a DJ in 1999, but the dance scene has interested her since she was 16, when she visited London. She began her career working for a promotions agency in the Boby Center, Brno, where the first Czech dance parties with Paul van Dyk and Nick Warren took place in the mid 1990s.
The Czech Mersey agency took her under their wing in the year 2000; they booked her to play at their legendary parties such as Supersonic Garage and the Metronome and Hradhouse festivals. Her visit to the Red Bull Music Academy in Dublin, 2000, and numerous opportunities to play, boosted her career and she soon became known as one of the Czech Republic’s most successful DJs. In 2002, she was acclaimed „Newcomer of the Year“ by the Czech magazíne Bassline and one year later, in 2003, she became the most popular DJ in the Czech Republic according to the Czech Dance Music Awards, which is regularly presented by the prestigous Czech magazine, XMAG. The same year, German magazine Groove, placed her 9th in the category of „Newcomer of the Year“.
This success didn´t come just like that. Lucca has a great talent of creating a story during her set,and is very experienced thanks to the fact that in 2002 she spun with a lot of great DJs during her time touring Spain, working with people such as Marco Carola or Gaetano Parisio amongst others. It was at this time she began to move away from tech house to the harder Ital-Tech sound began. Lucca admires this style d to this day.
She is influenced by the melodic groovy techno of Italian producers. She cooperates with Davide Squillace in the studio, is interested in the productions of Danilo Vigorito, Markantonio, Rino Cerrone, Gaetano Parisio, Marco Carola, and among her other favourites are the Slovenian‘s Valentino Kanzyani and Umek, Canadian DJ Preach and Brazilian Renato Cohen.
In 2002, Lucca started building her own studio and one year later she released her successful debut Mirage 01 on Aquatrax. Harder tracks, Moon and Fastlife followed soon after for the German label, Definition. Mirage 01 became a massive hit by the end of 2003 and in January 2004 Umek did an excellent remix. The remix was among Carl Cox‘s favourite tracks, who opened with it in several of his sets during spring 2004. Another track, Day 3, a colloboration between Lucca and Davide Squillace became Paul van Dyk´s favourite.
In September 2004, Lucca established her own label, Acapulco, where her subtly psychedelic track, Freedom, was released as a debut with Mirage 01 on the B-side.
From 2003, Lucca became part of Chris Liebing´s CLR booking agency for Germany and Benelux and in Summer 2005 she was chosen by Carl Cox on his stage at the huge Dance Valley festival. Aa couple of months later she got invitation from Tiesto to accompany him on his Eastern European tour. At the end of 2005 Lucca releases her first DVD on her label Acapulco (www.acapulco-records.cz).
